EPA is issuing an Administrative Consent Order (ACO) addressing violations of the Clean Air Act to Johnson Controls Battery Group Inc. (Johnson Controls), located in Holland, Ohio. In the ACO, Johnson Controls will agree to apply to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for an operating permit containing specific requirements for maintaining fire prevention and control equipment in good working order on two lead sources. This agreement will resolve violations of the CAA alleged in a June 30, 2016 Notice of Violation and Finding of Violation.
