## Summary

The Site is an approximately 650,000 square foot warehouse with multiple tenants, including an automotive repair/supply business, a home furnishing business, and a plastics injection molding company. The Respondent was the owner and/or operator of the facility at the time of release. On July 22, 2015, EPA was notified of a fire that resulted in the release of hazardous substances, including, but not limited to, hydrogen cyanide, at or from the Site. EPA promptly mobilized by deploying personnel to the Site, including Environmental Response Team personnel and their Scientific, Engineering, Response & Analytical Services Program contractor, and undertook a removal action at the Site (Removal Action) pursuant to CERCLA. EPA incurred response costs pursuant to Section 104(a) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. ? 9604(a), for the removal action.

The administrative agreement provides for payment of $102,479.45, the full amount of response costs (plus interest) that EPA incurred for the removal action. In turn, EPA granted the Respondent a covenant not to sue under Section 107(a) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. ? 9607(a), to recover EPA's past costs.
