On September 13, 2017, Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to Black Butte Construction, Inc. located in Emmett, Idaho for violations of the Toxic Substances Control Act�s (TSCA) Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. Region 10 alleged that Black Butte Construction, Inc. failed to follow lead-safe work practices while performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties as required by the RRP. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $5,429.05.
