On August 24, 2017, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order that resolves three violations of EPCRA section 313 by Axiom Electronics, Inc. at its facility in Beaverton, Oregon. EPA alleged that Axiom Electronics, LLC processed the toxic chemical lead in quantities exceeding the annual reporting threshold during calendar years 2013, 2014, and 2015, and failed to report toxic chemical releases to the Toxics Release Inventory by the annual reporting date each year. The failure to report deprived the public of timely and accurate data describing toxic chemical releases in their community. The company has returned to compliance and agreed to pay a $52,570 penalty.
