On August 17, 2017, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order that resolves violations of the TSCA Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule by Diamond Homes LLC, located in Meridian, Idaho. EPA alleged that Diamond Homes, LLC failed to become RRP firm and renovator certified, and failed to follow the lead-safe work practice standards while performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $7,199.
