On July 28, 2017, Region 10 issued an amended administrative order on consent with William C. Nelson, Jr. and the Estate of Barbara Nelson (Respondents) to resolve Clean Water Act violations in Redmond, Washington. Respondent violated the CWA Section 301 by discharging an unspecified quantity of dredged and/or fill material into wetlands and other waters of the United States without a Department of the Army CWA Section 404 permit. The Amended Consent Order requires Respondents to remove fill from waters of the United States, restore wetlands and re-meander a channelized stream at the site, install plantings along streams at the site, and replace an old culvert with a fish friendly passage.
