EPA received a tip/complaint alleging the Respondent performed regulated renovations at a pre-1978 residential property in Morris Plains, NJ, without following the requirements of the Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) Rule. Evidence indicates the Respondent failed to satisfy the following requirements of the RRP Rule: Pre-Renovation Information Distribution, Certified Renovator assigned, non-certified workers trained, and Recordkeeping to demonstrate compliance. The terms of the settlement require the company to come into compliance and pay a penalty of $15,393.
