This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order between U.S. EPA and Walmart Transportation, LLC (Respondent) for Respondent's alleged violation of the California Truck and Bus engine requirements of the state's federally approved State Implementation Plan (SIP) to control air pollutants from mobile sources. Respondent agreed to pay a civil penalty of $100,000 to settle the matter and will implement a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) through a $300,000 payment to the South Coast Air Quality Management District to install at least one Air Filtration System to reduce harmful air pollutants in classrooms in schools in the South Coast Air Basin.
