This case concerns the manufacture and sale during 2014 - 2017 by Van Hool, of at least 1,900 transit buses which were not covered by an EPA issued certificate of conformity.
As part of this settlement, Van Hool agreed to pay a civil penalty of $575,000 to the US Treasury and to label some of the buses as uncertified.
