Summary

The Morgro facility, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, was inspected on May 13, 2014. At the time of the inspection Morgo had been purchasing, or had purchased prior, active pesticide ingredients from the pesticide registrants PBI-Gordon and Bonide Products. At the time of the inspection Morgro was a supplemental distributor of PBI products and was a prior supplemental distributor of Bonide products. During the inspection the inspector obtained samples of pesticide labels that were currently applied to the pesticide products. The labels were reviewed at a later date and it was determined that nine of the PBI products and two of the Bonide products had outdated labels. All of the outdated labels were missing required container language found in 40 C.F.R. Part 156. Several of labels were missing required Environmental Hazards and Precautionary Language also found in 40 C.F.R. Part 156. Because these outdated labels were missing required language Morgro was found to be distributing misbranded pesticides. Additionally, three of the PBI products and the two Bonide products had been cancelled several years prior to the inspection. Morgro was found to have been distributing unregistered pesticides. Morgro was issued a Stop Sale, Use or Removal Order to cease distribution of misbranded and unregistered pesticides. Morgro took immediate steps to correct the violations and return to compliance.
