This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order between US EPA and Maui Varieties, Inc. (Respondent) of Maui, Hawaii for alleged violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act regulations for underground injection wells. Respondent agreed to close four (4) large capacity cesspools and install State-approved septic systems for three of the systems and connect to a private system for one system. Respondent also agreed to pay a civil administrative penalty of $134,000 to settle the matter.
