On April 5, 2017, an inspector from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducted an inspection of the Royal Hawaiian Orchard (Royal Hawaiian) in Keaau, Hawaii. During the inspection, the inspector obtained evidence that indicates Royal Hawaiian violated the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Worker Protection Standard (WPS), codified in federal regulations at 40 C.F.R. Part 170. The inspection report is enclosed.
