Respondent is a permitted Phase II MS4 in New Jersey. An MS4 Audit was conducted on June 27-29, 2017 and determined that the Respondent was not complying with the NJDEP Tier A Municipal General Stormwater Permit. Violations include, but are not limited to: failure to update the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, failure to develop and adopt a Municipal Stormwater Management Plan, failure to implement a local public education program, failure to ensure adequate long-term operation and maintenance for privately owned best management practices, failure to adopt required ordinances, failure to document street sweeping operations as required by the permit, and failure to fully implement maintenance yard operations requirements. An Information Request and Administrative Compliance Order is being issued to order Respondent to comply with the Tier A Municipal General Permit conditions.
