On November 27, 2017, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to the East Carroll Water System South (LA1035007) located in Transylvania, LA. The AO was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. 141.403 and 404. The AO requires the East Carroll Water System South (LA1035007) to address all significant deficiencies per Section 1414(g) of the SDWA, 42 U.S.C. ? 300g-3(g). the East Carroll Water System South (LA1035007) must respond to EPA Region 6 by January 5, 2018.
