On December 12, 2017, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g)of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Sherwood Estates Manufactured Townhome Community located in Midland, TX. The AO was issued in response to violation of the arsenic maximum contaminant level. The AO requires the Respondent to submit to EPA 1) a detailed plan to meet the arsenic MCL; 2) a cost analysis of the proposed plan; and 3) a construction schedule. The Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within 120 days of the issuance date of the Order.
