EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to the Nambe Pueblo located in Santa Fe, NM. The AO was issued in response to violations of the Uranium MCL. The AO requires Nambe Pueblo to Monitor Uranium monthly instead of quarterly and monitor the Ph before and after adjusting the CO2. Nambe Pueblo must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of the issuance of the Order.
