EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) to City of Wilmer, doing business as City of Wilmer water system (Respondent). EPA Region 6 issued the AO under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act to Respondent at its water system in Wilmer, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the RTCR. The AO required Respondent to do the following: within thirty days of receipt of this AO, Respondent shall 1)conduct a Level 1 assessment of the Public Water System; 2) submit the completed Level 1 assessment form to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for review with a copy sent to EPA; 3) give public notice of the violations to its customers if Respondent has not done it; and 4) within forty days provide a copy of all public notices to EPA and TCEQ.
