On December 22, 2017 EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 301 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. ? 1311, to the City of Glenn Heights (Respondent) located in Glenn Heights, Texas. The AO was issued in response to unauthorized discharge or sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) violations and a previous Administrative Order dated September 20, 2017 (Docket No. CWA-06-2017-1789). The AO (CWA-06-2018-1722) requires Respondent to comply with a schedule to create a functioning utlity department to prevent SSOs. Respondent must respond to EPA within ninety days of the effective date of the AO. .
