Comfort Homes, Inc. is a homebuilder operating chiefly in Dracut MA. It is currently developing Fox Run II, a large residential development. An EPA inspection on April 18,2017 revealed several deficiencies in erosion controls, including failure of a silt fence, failure to clean out a sediment basin, and failure to protect catch basins on the site. Additionally, the site had obtained coverage under a previous construction general permit, but not under the current 2017 version (which expired all previous versions). The case was settled via an expedited settlement agreement with Comfort Homes for a penalty of $4,250.
