The United States seeks payment of costs incurred by EPA for response actions taken or to be taken in connection with the release or threatened release of hazardous substances at and from the Cooper Drum Company Superfund Site in South Gate, Los Angeles County, California (the ?Site?), and performance by defendants of certain further response actions at the Site.
