On July 23, 2018, EPA Region 10 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO) to Biofloral USA (North Las Vegas, Nevada) to stop the distribution and sale of the product SM-90. This product is an unregistered pesticide on the basis of its composition, presticidal claims made on the product label, and widespread knowledge regarding the products pesticidal effect. The SSURO is the result of collaboration with Oregon Department of Agriculture and Washington State Department of Agriculture.
