On February 13, 2018, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under the authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. ? 1251 et seq.) to Stone Energy Corporation located in the Western portion of the Gulf of Mexico. The AO was issued in response to violations. Stone Energy Corporation must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this AO.
