On March 13, 2018, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order for Compliance (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309(g) of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to the Village of Chama for violations at its Wastewater Treatment Facility located in the Village of Chama, NM. The AO was issued in response to NPDES Permit limit violations of Ammonia, Biochemical Oxygen Demand,Total Aluminum, and Total Suspended Solids.
