On March 27, 2018, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9 (EPA) issued a Memorandum informing the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (CBP) that the import shipment of Upang UV Baby Bottle Sterilizer devices should be Denied Entry/Refused Delivery into the United States pursuant to the authority of Section l 7(c) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). EPA has determined that this product was not produced in a registered establishment and cannot legally be imported to the United States.
