On May 1, 2018, the Region entered into a Clean Water Act Administrative Order on Consent with the Meriden Village Water District for violations of the copper, phosphorous and ammonia nitrogen limits contained in their wastewater treatment facility's NPDES permit. The State of New Hampshire has not been delegated the NPDES program but worked in close coordination with EPA in this matter.
