On 9/11/2018, Region 10 filed an administrative order on consent resolving violations of the Clean Water Act by City of Kendrick, Kendrick, Idaho. Respondent, which operates a wastewater treatment facility, discharged pollutants to waters of the U.S. exceeding its NPDES permit limits for Escherichia coli (E. coli), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), pH, and Total Residual Chlorine (TRC). The city is now on a track towards full compliance and doing so will improve the water quality of the receiving waters.
