Region 10 Settles with Jim Myatt (Preston, ID) for CWA Violations
On August 15, 2018, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving violations of the Clean Water Act by Jim Myatt, for construction activities he was conducting at his personal residence near Preston, Idaho. Respondent failed to obtain coverage under EPA?s 2017 construction stormwater general permit for construction activities that occurred from August 1, 2017 ? December 12, 2017. Additionally, Respondent failed to conduct self-inspections and develop a timely Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. The property owner agreed to pay a penalty of $4,550.
