This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order between US EPA and Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (Respondent) of Thomasville, North Carolina, for Respondent's alleged violation of the California Truck and Bus engine requirements of the federally approved California State Implementation Plan (SIP) to control air pollutants from mobile sources. Respondent agreed to pay a civil administrative penalty of $100,000 to settle the matter, and complete a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) to provide $225,000 to the South Coast Air Quality Management District to implement at least one School Air Filtration System to reduce harmful air pollutants in classrooms in the South Coast Air Basin.
