This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order between US EPA and N.F. Kawakami Store, LTD. (Respondent), of Eleele, Hawaii for alleged violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act regulations for underground injection wells. Respondent is alleged to have failed to close a large capacity cesspool as required, at its Big Save Market 5492 Koloa Road, Koloa, HI. Respondent agreed to pay a civil administrative penalty of $110,000 to settle the matter.
