On July 18,2018, EPA issued an Administrative Order and Request For Information to American Legion Post 907 in Taylorstown, Pennsylvania, for several violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act. The system continues to violate Safe Drinking Water Act regulations, specifically monitoring and reporting requirements of the Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR) and failure to develop a written sample siting plan and collection schedule identifying sampling sites and a sample collection schedule. This Order addresses all current violations, and develops a plan for full compliance. The Ground Water and Enforcement Branch will work closely with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to enforce the Order.
