This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CA/FO)between US EPA and Rho-Chem, LLC (Respondent) of Inglewood, California, for Respondent's violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act requirements for facilities that treat, store or dispose of hazardous waste. To settle the matter, Respondent agreed to pay a $120,527 penalty, return to compliance for all violations addressed in this CA/FO, and perform a Supplemental Environmental Project, at a cost of no less than $352,992 to enhance the emergency response capabilities of the Los Angeles Fire Department's Homeland Security/HazMat Response Section.
