On May 18, 2018, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. ? 1251 et seq.) to Fieldwood Energy LLC, located in the Western portion of the Gulf of Mexico. The AO was issued in response to effluent violations. Fieldwood Energy,LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this AO.
