Respondent conducted renovation activities at 17 Brook Side Road, Edison NJ, 08817, in June of 2016. On-site observation from an EPA inspection on June, 26, 2016, and follow-up investigation via Information Request Letter led EPA to conclude that Respondent had failed to obtain initial RRP firm certification, to post signs clearly defining the work area, to establish and maintain records, to assign a certified renovator to the job and document, and to cover the exterior ground in a manner sufficient to contain dust and debris. The Respondent is required to pay $2,400 and complete and adhere to a compliance plan to ensure similar violations do not occur in the future.
