EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Sheridan Production Company (Respondent), located in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. The CAFO was issued in response to violations of Section 301 of the CWA for produced water and brine discharges to a water of the U.S. The CAFO requires Sheridan Production Company to pay a penalty of $6,300. The Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6.
