This case involves the production and transfer for sale by Colonial Oil Industries, Inc. ( Colonial ) of about 315,000 gallons of gasoline which failed to meet the summertime vapor pressure standard of 9 pounds per square inch required by Clean Air Act (CAA).
As part of the settlement with EPA, Colonial paid a $210,000 civil penalty.
