EPA issued an Emergency Administrative Order in response to a potential imminent and substantial endangerment at Alta Community Pipeline public water system (System)
located in Alta, Wyoming. The System has an E. coli maximum contaminant exceedance violation. The Order required the System to, among other things, issue a boil water
advisory and public notice until notified by the EPA that this is no longer needed; provide an alternate source of water; submit a plan and schedule for any corrective actions
identified to prevent bacteriological contamination of the system; and disinfect and flush the system. The System serves approximately 40 residents.
