This case addresses violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by TSI Diesel and Performance ( TSI ). Between April 2017 and April 2018, TSI installed at least 6 emission control defeat devices and removed stock emissions control components on Ford and Dodge trucks.
As part of the settlement with EPA, TSI paid a $5,700 civil penalty and agreed to refrain from purchasing, selling or installing emission control defeat devices and from tampering with emissions controls.
