This case addresses violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by KT Performance Inc. ( KT ). Between January 2013 and April 2018, KT manufactured or sold at least 2,833 emission control defeat devices.
As part of the settlement with EPA, KT paid a $52,284 civil penalty to the U.S. Treasury and agreed to refrain from manufacturing, selling or installing emission control defeat devices.
