EPA Region 10 Issued a Unilateral Administrative Compliance Order to a federally owned and operated drinking water system that is in Indian Country for violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The drinking water system of the Fort Simcoe Job Corps Center is located on the Yakama Nation reservation. The system failed to correct significant deficiencies pertaining to the system, did not conduct required monitoring for nitrate, and did not sample at the correct locations for nitrate and coliform.
