October 16, 2018, U.S. EPA Region 9 (EPA) informed the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (CBP) that the Mosquito Killer Lamp in the import shipment containing 80 Mosquito Killer Lamps should be Denied Entry-Refused Delivery into the United States pursuant to the authority of Section 17(c) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The products are unlawful under FIFRA 12(a)(2)(e) as misbranded as defined under regulations. The importer of record is Viniuvi Technology Limited of Hong Kong.
