On November 6, 2018, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. ? 1251 et seq.) to BP Exploration & Production, Inc., located in the Western portion of the Gulf of Mexico. The AO was issued in response to effluent violations. BP Exploration & Production, Inc. must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this AO.
