Region III Enters into an Expedited Settlement Agreement with JMZ Enterprises, LLC for violations of RCRA Subtitle I. On January 30, 2019, the Regional Judicial Officer issued a Final Order accepting the Expedited Settlement Agreement negotiated pursuant to Section 9006 of RCRA to settle violations of RCRA Subtitle I, and Virginia?s federally authorized underground storage tank (UST) program, by JMZ Enterprises, LLC. Respondent is the operator of two USTs located at the Express Mart facility in Woodstock, Virginia. The violation is a failure to conduct tank release detection on one of the USTs at the facility. The violation was discovered through information collected during an inspection at the facility on April 24, 2018, and from information provided after the inspection. Under the terms of the settlement, Respondent has paid a civil penalty in the amount of $940.00 and has returned to compliance with the violations cited.
