On October 23, 2018, EPA R6 Storm Water Team conducted a small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (sMS4) Pre-Assessment and Inspection, in the City of Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The Team conducted staff interviews about the management, operations and maintenance of the sMS4's Storm Water Management Program (SWMP); and inspected their owned and operated facilities to determine compliance with sMS4 permit requirements. Results from the Pre-Assessment/Inspection will rank the municipality for a more comprehensive sMS4 Self-Assessment/Audit, administered by EPA or the State. This Initiative is in accordance with EPA?s National MS4 Storm Water Initiative to check all MS4s? (large and small) SWMPs for permit compliance.
