This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order between US EPA and E. & J. Gallo (Respondent) of Modesto, California for Respondent's alleged violations of the Clean Air Act 112(r) Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements at their winery, located in Fresno, California. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $57,839 and must perform a Supplemental Environmental Project, at a cost of no less than $350,000 for emergency shutoff modifications at ammonia refrigeration systems at the facility.
