On August 13, 2019, EPA Region 10 settled with Wood Tec, Inc. d/b/a Wood Care Systems (Kirkland, WA) for violations of FIFRA. Respondent violated Section 12(a)(1)(E) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(E), on at least one occasion by importing the misbranded pesticide, Bor-8-Rods (EPA Reg. No. 70114-1). Respondent also violated Section 12(a)(2)(N) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(2)(N), on at least one occasion by failing to file a Notice of Arrival of Pesticides and Devices, as required by FIFRA. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $4,163.
