This case addresses violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by Freedom Performance, LLC ( FPL ). Between May 1,
2015 and November 1, 2016 FPL sold almost 14,000 emission control defeat devices.
As part of the final order in this matter, FPL must pay a $7,058,647 civil penalty to the US Treasury.
