On April 4, 2019, Region 5 executed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with Champion Window Company of Minneapolis, LLC. The ESA identifies alleged violations of the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), specifically of the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule). Region 5 alleged that from calendar years 2017 to 2018, Champion Window Company of Minneapolis, LLC failed to retain a complete set of records to demonstrate compliance with 40 CFR Part 745 Subpart E. Champion Window Company of Minneapolis, LLC will pay a $1,000 penalty.
