Region 5 alleged that Student Painters MI, LLC violated 40 C.F.R. Section 745.85(a)(2)(ii)(C) when it failed to cover the ground with impermeable plastic sheeting prior to undergoing renovation activities in target housing. Student Painters MI, LLC and EPA agreed to a penalty of $21,000 for the alleged violation. Student Painters MI, LLC certifies that it is now complying with all requirements of the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule.
