On April 8,2019, EPA Region 6 issued Administrative Order (AO) CWA-06-2019-1769 under its authority pursuant to the Clean Water Act to the City of Rio Rancho, NM (Respondent). The AO was issued in response to violations of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit (No. NM0027987). The AO requires the City of Rio Rancho to submit to EPA missing progress reports and to come into compliance with NPDES Permit No. NM0027987. The City of Rio Rancho must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days.
