On June 11, 2019, Region 1 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) that addresses Clean Air Act violations by Londonderry Freezer Warehouse, LLC (LFW) at their cold storage and distribution facility in Londonderry, New Hampshire. The Region alleged that LFW violated the Clean Air Act Section 112(r) General Duty Clause in its handling of anhydrous ammonia at its facility. LFW has achieved compliance with the Clean Air Act and has agreed to pay a penalty of $78,200 pursuant to the CAFO.
